So you've build a nice Meteor app and now this GraphQL thing comes along. How can you benefit from it while maintaining your current application? Not all of us can start from scratch. Is it even necessary to use it? What about DDP, isn't that enough? And what's that subscription thing in Apollo I heard about?
Let's dive into all these questions and have a detailed view on how the current Meteor and Apollo can work nicely together.
We'll start with updates from the Meteor community by Camiel van Rijen. Then we'll dive into using Apollo with an existing Meteor application. (Yes, it even works with Blaze). With setup information and code examples by Michiel ter Reehorst. Then we'll have a look at subscriptions in Apollo and how they compare to the reactivity we know from Meteor and DDP, by Quint Stoffers.
So in short:

• Meteor (Classic) and GraphQL with Apollo, by Michiel ter Reehorst
• Apollo Subscriptions (vs. DDP), by Quint Stoffers
