Meetup: Big Data Science with Go

OVERVIEW:

Come, share, socialize, and learn with GoJakarta, BRI, and Snapcart with a special meetup on Big Data and Go! This month we welcome Joy Gabriel, a Data Scientist at Snapcart to share his knowledge with the Jakarta development community on working with Big Data and Go. Additionally, a surprise guest speaker will be presenting!

Presentations will begin promptly at 7:00pm, and will end at roughly 8:30pm. There will be a short question and answer period after each presenter. Doors open at 6:30pm. Please come on time, before 7:00pm!

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS AND TALKS:

Joy Gabriel, a Data Scientist at Snapcart, will share "Essential Data Science and Go", that will demonstrate building Machine Learning models in Go, and cover the benefits of Go for big data and deep science. Joy's talk will also provide an overview of the various data science use-cases with Go. Joy previously worked building Business Intelligence systems for GO-JEK.

ABOUT GOJAKARTA:

GoJakarta is a monthly meetup group focused on examining applications, frameworks, and technologies written in the Go programming language. The Go programming language is an open source project to make programmers more productive. Go is expressive, concise, clean, and efficient.
