Meetup #2 - Vault, scheduling with Nomad & service discovery with Nomad

Mar 10, 2016 · Amsterdam, Netherlands

Eric Feliksik - Director of Cloud Orchestra @ Nerdalize - Vault without hassle

Working in a team requires good tooling. Git, Docker and KV stores all help us in developing and running code collaboratively. But what about your passwords, keys and other secrets? How do you securely store and securely share them? Moreover, how can a team of developers try and start using Vault in a simple way, without having to worry about managing a Vault server or being slowed down by an obstructing workflow?
This talk will give you an overview what Vault can do. Furthermore, it demonstrates  how developers can have a very basic workflow to install vault, run it, and write & read secrets -- in 120 seconds.
