Meet at Virtual Reality LA (VRLA)

Apr 15, 2017 · Los Angeles, United States of America

Hey JavaScriptLA fans, our friends at VRLA will be having their expo on April 14 & April 15!

Let's meet up to check out the expo together!

Our group will most likely meet around 10am each day (at the beginning of the expo) and wander around.

If you want to find the group at any time during the event, you can message us on Slack to ask where we are in the case you just want to swing by later.

(Not on Slack? Use for an invite).

Check out the full schedule of the show here: There are a lot of very interesting panels including the keynote with John Riccitiello (CEO of Unity) as well as panels by Intel, HTC & Google (for Daydream). Additionally it's a great chance to network with industry panels (and maybe find work-- so bring your best elevator pitch ^_^).

VRLA is the world's largest VR (Virtual Reality) & AR (Augmented Reality) expo. Try hundreds of new VR & AR experiences at the world’s largest immersive technology expo. Open your mind to the future of storytelling, entertainment, and much more!

People come to VRLA from all over the world to see the latest advancements in VR, AR, and everything related to immersive technology. Past attendees to VRLA include entrepreneurs, software developers, hardware manufacturers, producers, directors, ad agencies, venture capitalists, integrators, reps from all the major motion picture studios, VFX houses, theme parks, and theater chains.

The expo will feature cutting-edge demos of the most exciting projects in development for the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PlayStation VR, and more! Each day is stacked with a lineup of insightful presentations and announcements, featuring John Riccitiello, CEO of Unity, and Justin Roiland, co-creator of Rick and Morty, as our keynote speakers.
