Techweek'18 Meetup - An introduction to web development

Special event during Techweek:

This event provides a series of brief 5 to 10 minute presentations from a range of speakers introducing different facets and stages of web development. The audience will receive an overview of the different requirements and unique challenges of each phase of web development from inception to delivery.

Presentations topics include:

Dan Khan - Validation, the Lean Canvas Model, and Value Propositions
Tim Higgs - Scoping, Discovery, and Estimates
Ashlyn Baum - Agile, Collaborative Tools, and Communications
Toro Hill - Development
Jen Zajac - Security and Maintenance
Kitty Fitton - Career change and starting as a web developer

This event is tailored to people with minimal or no knowledge of web development, organisations without in-house web developers, or individuals that are looking to start working with web developers (e.g. seeking technical co-founders).
