Join us for drinks and networking at the sixth Manchester Internet of Things Meetup. Once again it will be hosted by Manchester Science Partnerships (http://mspl.co.uk), but this time it will be at their newly opened Bright Building on Pencroft Way. There will also be the opportunity to hear from some of the people working on creative and innovative IoT projects in the North West. Speaking on the night will be:
Andy Lowry : Andy is Development Team Lead at Presciense (presciense.com), a Manchester and London based full stack IoT solutions company that specialises in the smart energy and smart home markets. He is a strong advocate of modern software development processes and will be talking about the practical challenges associated with developing and testing complex IoT products for consumer facing applications.
Ilyas Vali : Talking about the Internet of Things that go extremely fast, Ilyas is one of the co-founders of rLoop – a globally distributed autonomous organisation of 1200 members across 50 countries that came together to enter the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition. At the recent trials they were winners of the ‘Innovation Award’ (one of only 5 category awards in the competition). Ilyas will be discussing the future vision for the Hyperloop, the challenges and opportunities presented by crowd sourced engineering, and rLoop’s adoption of blockchain technology to help manage that process.
