Intermittent performance issues can be a DBA's nemesis. You don't know when the problem will occur, it can be tricky to capture the right data, and once the issue has been identified, you may not be able to make the change to fix it.
Enter Query Store. With Query Store, you can continually capture query performance data, quickly pinpoint the issue, and then manage the performance by forcing a plan or adding a hint, even without code access. In this session, we'll explore manual and automatic plan forcing, and the new Query Store Hints feature, to see how easy it is to stabilize performance in both Azure SQL Database and on-prem solutions.
