An ARM template is a declarative configuration in JSON format. And much like any other template mechanism in a DevOps framework, it is an essential vehicle for automation, configuration management and continuous deployment in Azure. This presentation presents an opportunity for you to examine and learn the components and operations of ARM templates, how to deploy a cloud solution in Azure and how Microsoft practices DevOps and engaging technical communities to collectively develop ARM templates. An individual with an active Azure subscription is welcome to bring a personal laptop with the local admin access for connecting to Azure for an hands-on experience.
