Onboarding UX is the user journey from initial sign-up through to experiencing the core value of your product for the first time. Without investing in getting your users to this "Aha!" moment you will always have a "leaky bucket" where new users abandon your product, making your marketing spend ineffective.
In this talk, former Google & Uber Design Lead Mark Lamb shares the tips, techniques, and tactics to help turn new users into engaged users.
- Key mistakes product teams make with onboarding
- How to use user psychology principles to motivate users to use your product
- How to optimise your product's empty states
- UX solutions to guide your users through to the "Aha!" moment
