Chris Gillespie is a Data Scientist with a desire to derive actionable insights from data. He is a Sr. Analyst, Data Science at United Airlines. Formerly, he was a consultant in the healthcare industry with an emphasis on business intelligence and specialty pharmaceuticals. Upon realizing the limitations of traditional tools and techniques to manage and analyze claims data, he became interested in the capabilities of data science.
The tools he works with are, but not limited to:
o Natural Language Processing
o Supervised/Unsupervised Learning
Samuel Adams graduated from Metis in December of 2018. He is an engineer turned data scientist with practical experience taking projects from raw data through analysis, modeling, visualization, and presentation to an audience. After spending two years in the Navy's nuclear training program, he turned to Metis to update his programming and machine leaning knowledge. He intends to leverage those skills building cutting edge models and informing business strategy. He is comfortable working in Python and SQL, with previous solutions also delivered in C++ and Matlab. He is fluent in Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese with native accent.
Samuel has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University.
