We will discuss what LinkedIn is, how to create a profile, how to navigate through features, how to modify settings, and tips and techniques for best practices.

What LinkedIn is and why you should use it
How to create a great personal profile
How to navigate LinkedIn
How to enhance your personal brand
How to use LinkedIn’s tools and applications

 
At the end of this workshop, you will:

Be able to update and manage your LinkedIn profile
Know how to change the settings to what is important to you
Understand how to add images, video, documents, and presentations to your profile
Know how to optimize your profile for LinkedIn search

 
Who should attend?
Anyone who has said, “I keep receiving requests from colleagues to join LinkedIn, but I don’t know what to do with them” and those who are interested in finding out what LinkedIn is and how to use it.
 
Prerequisites:

Basic PC skills and internet knowledge is required
You must bring your laptop
You must have a working email address and know the password
Optional: Please bring a headshot or photo for your profile picture.  You can bring these either on your flash drive, in your email or on your mobile phone - you must know how to upload photos from your phone.
