This October, the University launches an exciting new event series, lifting the lid on extraordinary research that offers fascinating insight into the world around us.
Hosted at unique venues around the city, Portsmouth’s leading academics reveal discoveries that will change the way you see and understand things.
Kicking off the series is Professor Alex Ford who will explain the shocking truth behind our pollutants and our marine life.
And you'll be able to settle in to enjoy the evening with a tasty beverage when the doors open at 6.30pm. The talk will commence at 7.15pm.
The Life Solved Live event series will be filmed by a professional camera crew and the talks broadcast via the University's YouTube channel later this year. Some of the content may also feature on our social media and web pages. The cameras will mainly focus on our academic speakers, but guests may feature in the background. Please advise event organisers if you would rather not feature.
24hr parking is available at Gunwharf Quays, just a 5 minute walk away from Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
We’re a new breed of university and proud to be a breath of fresh air in the academic world – a place where everyone gets the support they need to achieve their best. For all University of Portsmouth events, visit our website.
