Let's Celebrate the Holidays, Network & Party!

Dec 12, 2019 · Palo Alto, United States of America

Our annual holiday party!

Lots of food, lots of people, lots of networking, lots of holiday cheer.

Celebrating the third anniversary of our re-launch, and decades of Engineering Leadership goodness.

Our YouTube channel is now a year and a half rich with content:

Enjoy the informal party atmosphere to be (or become!) part of the community; and feel free to let any of the SVELC Co-Chairs know your ideas about future SVELC meetings - topics you’d like to learn or speakers you’d like to hear from. You can even volunteer to be one of the dozen-plus volunteers who self-organize to make SVELC meetings happen month in and month out!

Remember our mottoes:
Silicon Valley: Where relationships last longer than jobs.
Become the engineering leader you've always wanted to work for.

Finally, did you know there's manufacturing - big manufacturing - on Page Mill Road? Varian host John van Heteren will reprise last year's popular (and amazing) plant tour of where and how Varian's massive and leading-edge cancer treatment machines are made.

The Varian Cafeteria, 3130 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, has plentiful parking. If you map it on Google Maps, the pointer to 3130 Hansen Way, about at the kink in Hansen Way, is actually where the closest parking lot is. The cafeteria building is the buff curvy-winged building due south of the kink in Hansen Way. If you prefer public transportation, it's just a 22-minute walk from CalTrain's California Avenue station.

Tonight's sponsors:

Project Connections: High-impact, low-overhead tools and techniques for leading projects and people to achieve business results. And its founder, Cinda Voegtli. www.projectconnections.com/
