Jason van Brackel talks Windows Server Container Orchestration with Kubernetes

Sep 11, 2017 · New York, United States of America

Kubernetes is a fantastic solution for managing containers in both public and private cloud scenarios. While support is alpha for Windows Server Containers, this technology shows promise and it's already available in Azure through the Microsoft Azure Container Service.

In this session we'll explore container capabilities in Windows Server 2016, introduce Kubernetes, and equip developers with next steps for taking advantage of these exciting technologies.

Jason van Brackel (@jasonvanbrackel) is a Solutions Architect @Apprenda. His technical expertise is in architecting, implementing, and deploying scalable, cloud applications in .NET, Java, and NodeJs. When not working with Apprenda to standup dynamic cloud-native solutions, Jason can be found blogging about whatever he is learning (probably something in the Kubernetes ecosystem) at http://morehuman.software . Jason is a frequent speaker at local meetups and tech conferences. The organizer of both Kubernetes Philly and GDG Cloud Philly, he has also spoken at conferences such as http://Philly.NET Code Camp, Tech Bash and South Florida Code Camp.
