18:30 - Supercharge your Node.JS with Rust!
By Dmitry Kudryavtsev, Senior Software Engineer @ Autodesk

Node.js is great, but there are cases where it's not that great. In such cases, it's advised to default to writing Native Modules in C or C++. But C/C++ are awful languages and Rust fixes a lot of their problems. Join me on a journey how you can incorporate Rust with Node.JS and increase your application performance.

19:10 - ESM in Node.js: a tangled tale of asynchronicity, compatibility, and people
By Gil Tayar, Senior Architect @ Roundforest

ES Modules (ESM) was standardized in JavaScript in 2015. Yet we could really start to use ES Modules in Node.js only in 2021. Six years! Why? What took so long? The short answer: the need to deal with a move from a synchronous module to an asynchronous one, while dealing with backward compatibility. The long answer: in the meeting :)

19:45 - Raffle IntelliJ Licenses + Node.TLV 2022 ticket!! (more details in https://www.nodetlv.com/)
