With enterprise data growing exponentially, companies are looking for ways to easily and cost-effectively analyze all of this data with minimal time-to-insight, regardless of the format or where the data is stored. In this session, we will deep dive into data engineering concepts used by AWS to implement lake house architectures which enable faster and deeper insights for analysts and data scientists.

Speaker bio:
James Bashforth is a senior solutions architect at AWS. As a solution architect, James assists customers in building secure, reliable, cost-efficient, high-performance, and operationally sound applications on AWS. James is passionate about data and analytics with a depth of customer experience across Mining, construction, finance, retail, health, and government. In his previous roles, James led an analytics practice for a leading consultancy, where he worked with customers to provide guidance on big data engineering techniques.
