It’s elementary (for mobile) my dear (IBM) Watson.

May 22, 2014 · Chicago, United States of America

Just three years ago you watched IBM’s Watson beat some of the smartest dudes on the planet in Jeopardy, winning $1 million. With Watson's bet of $17,000 on "Bram Stroker" in the final round, you were thinking to yourself, “this is light years away and I’ll never be able to use that technology in my lifetime.”

Well that time has come sooner than you think.

Today, IBM is making a wager itself. The tech giant is beginning to fund a new business unit to open up the Watson software as an engine for applications to take advantage of. This Meetup will provide an introduction to the Watson cloud ecosystem and how it can, and ultimately will, change the mobile landscape.

IBM’s Stephen Tenzer will be joining us and walking through the Watson platform capabilities as we explore the new opportunities it presents within the mobile space.

If you are a person planning mobile application roadmaps or trying to create the next new cutting edge mobile application, this Meetup is for you!
