Speaker: Bob Gilson
CEO, Cadence Agricultural Systems Inc.
Topic: IoT cannabis microenvironment
Why cannabis is highly environmentally sensitive and by altering the environment, the plant’s phenotype and chemotype can be altered to increase or decrease the expression of desired molecules. There are 500+ low molecular weight molecules in cannabis that have potential medical uses. Using IoT and CASi hardware, microenvironment recipes can be recalled globally.
In 2020, CASi is launching a microenvironment platform for cultivators to market their proprietary recipes. We believe this platform can spur collaboration, accelerate the discovery of important cannabis medicines and products while giving cultivators an opportunity to monetize proprietary recipes.
Bob Gilson is CEO and Co-founder of Cadence Agricultural Systems Inc. (“CASi”). Founded two years ago, CASi has developed a precision cultivation system for medical and high-quality cannabis.
As a former VC and co-founded Spectral Diagnostics, a cardiac diagnostic company, Bob brings a diverse experience base to CASi. He attributes a lifetime of relationships and an experienced team to CASi’s ability to develop this world changing technology.
