What is Test Driven Development? How does it differ from conventional programming? Why should engineering leaders care?
In this session, we'll look at:
• The 3 Steps of TDD
• The 3 Laws of TDD
• A collaborative demonstration with a simple code kata
• Costs vs. Benefits: what do the studies show?
Jon Reid has been practicing TDD since 2001, and has applied it to iOS development since 2010. He began writing about programming at work, then giving talks, then teaching classes internally. Eager to share more broadly, Jon started the Quality Coding (https://qualitycoding.org/) blog, and began giving talks and training to broader audiences, including at 2016's Silicon Valley Code Camp.
Jon is available on a limited basis to bring his training and coaching on-site to your teams.
