Integrating Angular with Asp.Net Core MVC

Feb 13, 2019 · St. Louis, United States of America

Our February meeting will take place on February 13 at 7:00 pm. We will be at the CIC-CET building in the Korte Conference Room (directly behind the Showroom) . The address is 20 S Sarah St. If you have any questions, call us at (314)[masked].

Full-stack development teams work on both ASP.Net core MVC APIs and the Angular front-end code that interfaces with the API. The team needs an easy way to both debug the API while running the site and run the angular site without being slowed down by API debugging. Setting up a repository to handle both projects, the deployment and debug time experience can be a challenge.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution to setup the development environment. This talk will demonstrate multiple options to setup a solution optimized for different working environments and discuss the pros and cons of each option.

Speaker:
Michael Lang, is an 18 year experienced developer most notably with C#, ASP.Net Core, relational databases and key-value stores, CSS, Javascript, jQuery and Angular apps.

Michael founded Nexul Academy in June 2018.
Located in the Central West End of Saint Louis Missouri, Nexul Academy provides an inclusive, diverse and technically challenging experience combined with team building experience to provide comprehensive readiness to enter the Saint Louis software development workforce. We strive to offer relevant training on the latest technology relevant to St. Louis companies, from startups to large companies.

If you have any questions message the organizers on meetup.com or message us via the #stl_fullstack_web_dev channel in the STLTech slack group https://stltech.org/.
