For our 1st meetup of 2022, we have a great topic on hand. Over the last few weeks, a few blog posts and twitter threads all seemed to have converged around the topic of web and emissions.
In web performance we always talk about being as resource efficient as possible: no needless requests, no wasteful image, js or css, caching when ever possible... Why do we do all this? Well, performance and user experience. But what about energy consumption and or CO2??
