Jun 7 - 8, 2017 · Atlanta, United States of America

About:

Humans have a natural desire to search and discover things. In a world where the average attention span is 8 seconds and data is doubling every 2 years, it is all about how quickly and efficiently can we search and discover content on websites and apps.

In this session, Alex will show you cutting edge UX ideas for search, along with giving a live examples of how to efficiently build a great search.

Search is no more a complicated backend issue, search is all about the UX, so lets create awesome UX with Search!

Speaker:

Alex Kudelka, Director of Business Development at Algolia

Bio:

Alex joined Algolia over 2 years ago, and currently holds the position of Director of Business Development. Alex's main objective is to ensure the clear mission and purpose of Algolias product is positioned correctly and to the right audiences - his BD rule, I will never automate messages to potential clients, meaning never spam. His philosophy is to always over research a potential client before reaching out to them, forming a solid use case before you ever even chat.

Alexs background is in Enterprise Search, Site Search, and Mobile software... with the majority of his background being in fast-growing startups HQ'd all around the world... working in companies from Paris, to Osolo, and of course Atlanta. Working to improve the overall UX of major fortune 100 companies, all the way to mom and pop online eCommerce shops.

Alex has recently just opened up the Atlanta office of Algolia, where he is currently building out the BD arm of Algolia.
