In this session we'll examine how information is both an asset and a liability to organisations, particularly in regards to communication. How organisations can gain an advantage through the use of technology, networks and a disruptive mindset, with examples from a Alistair’s projects within Swinburne and from literature.
Alistair Gray's Bio:
Alistair has just finished his Research Masters at Swinburne University where he has investigated ways to combat Information Overload through UI design and UX principles. He loves finding ways to turn information to a company or government organisation’s advantage and develop concepts that lead towards opportunities. He has worked with companies such as ANZ, Deloitte and Myer along with organisations such as The City of Melbourne, OzGrav and Creative Universe. His latest venture is creating networks between academia and industry to improve gender equality and engagement whilst proving pathways into STEM careers.
