Harnessing the Power of Lean-Kanban in the Enterprise: Ehab El-Badry

Mar 15, 2018 · New York, United States of America

Description:

Most large enterprises are large and sluggish, and very little seems to get done with the need for so much effort and coordination. Waste is the status quo and is everywhere, yet somehow is invisible to all that have grown accustomed to seeing it.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

This case study follows one team’s journey from being yet another cog in the ineffective machine of one such large organization, to becoming a beacon for real change and inspiring real agility, using kanban and lean principles to light the way.

Speaker: Ehab El-Badry has been treading his own agile journey for over 12 years. He’s worked in a technical capacity and then project management, before deciding that influencing and inspiring others is an art worthy of becoming a full-time profession and hence dedicated himself to agile coaching.

He has coached organizations from small startups to large enterprises in various domains from Finance to Entertainment to Education. He also successfully led his own startup and helped others start their own.

Location: Spotify is on 45 W. 18th Street. That's between 6th and 5th avenues, above the Bed Bath and Beyond. Note that for this meeting, we'll be on the 7th floor.
