Group Process: From Accidental to Intentional

Feb 17, 2022 · Brisbane, Australia

How you can choose & use group processes: from accidental to intentional. Going beyond habitual and/or ‘seat of the pants’ delivery in participatory sessions

Meetings hey? Can’t live with them. Can’t live without them. Definitely a love–hate relationship. It’s a serious question on how to get the most out of them!

Experienced agilists have a kitbag of group process tips, tricks, tools and techniques. These process elements have been acquired over time, often by osmosis. They get used because they work well enough.

And yet...

What if you had a robust framework to help you to design individual elements into a coherent overall process? What if that same framework enabled youto diagnose and respond to what’s going on in real time?

This session goes beyond the bits and pieces. It will look at the underpinning dynamics of facilitation. You may well come out knowing “so that’s why what I’ve been doing works.” Hopefully you’ll feel curious and confident enough to go out and try it for yourself.
