Dinner with Nintex - Lean and Agile Lessons for beyond software development

Nintex invites Girl Geek Dinners to a communal dinner at their HQ in the CBD. The evening will feature small group tours of Nintex office, a delicious communal dinner and a panel of passionate lean, agile and systems thinking professionals. There will also be plenty of opportunity to connect with your fellow Girl Geeks during dinner and afterwards as we mingle over dessert.

Craig Brown (Aconex, LAST Conference, Tabar Events) will emcee the the panel 

Craig’s roles over the past 15 years have involved leading project management teams, projects and programmes, consulting, training and coaching in a variety of aspects of project delivery. Apart from the disciplines of project and portfolio management Craig is also an Agile and Lean enthusiast with a focus on the collaboration and cultivation aspects of agile practices and methods. Craig runs the Melbourne Scrum User group and also runs meetup groups for Agile business analysis and agile project managers where he helps people navigate their way from traditional roles and thinking to modern ones.

Craig also co-created the LAST conference which is a low cost community driven conference focusing on lean, agile and systems thinking.

Victoria Schiffer (Seek Ltd)

As the Agile Coach at SEEK I work with many passionate people and teams. We all share the purpose of helping people live more fulfilling and productive working lives and to help organisations succeed.

We follow Lean principles as well as Scrum and Kanban. In the past, assuming the roles of Delivery Lead, Team Lead, Agile Business Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master and Software Engineer, I have worked in multichannel retail as well as a professional social network and real estate advertising. 

My focus is always on the customer as well as the team building the functionality for the customer. My positive attitude creates an atmosphere of possibility and growth for my team mates and other co-workers. I love a professional challenge in an Agile environment where I can continue to contribute my professional experience and strong social and organizational skills whilst having the opportunity to constantly learn in working with great and diverse teams.

Supriya Joshi (Aconex)

As a senior software engineer at Aconex, my professional objective is to be a part of a great team, motivate and be motivated. I am a great team player and am able to communicate at all levels effectively. I love to learn new things and explore my own boundaries by taking on challenges.

Passionate advocate for diversity in technology, Sue is an iteration manager for Australia Post and co-ordinates different programs for Go Girl, Go for IT
