R is a rich and very powerful programming language that focuses on statistical computing and graphics. SQL Server 2016 integrates this computing engine within R Services. SQL Server R Services provides a platform for developing intelligent applications that uncover new insights. In this session we will cover the basics of the R language and show how you can use the language to create models and generate predictions using your SQL Server data.

Join us for this interactive ‘Dashboard in an Hour’ session where you will use Power BI Desktop to explore and create an interactive report and then use the Power BI Service to create a Power BI dashboard including Q&A. With this end to end scenario you will get hands-on experience on how powerful and simple it is to explore, model and visualize data.
