"Getting Familiar With" is a series provided by GDG North Jersey that will take place online. This series is focused on providing real-world experience that you can take into your next project, portfolio, or job. Each topic will include a variety of videos, articles, and challenges to review and complete to become familiar with the topic at hand. You will be invited to join a Slack group where you'll be able to discuss any issues you run into. The start date is the kick off of the subject at hand, and we will be working and communicating in the chat throughout the month.
This months topic is the Retrofit, a type-safe HTTP client for Android and Java. Retrofit allows you to take your HTTP API and convert it into a Java interface.
