Maryanne Morrow is a 20+ year veteran of the ﬁnancial industry working as a mutual fund specialist, launching a family of funds and architecting fee-based asset management platforms for banks, broker dealers and insurance ﬁrms. She was involved in 2 successful exits (to Standard & Poor’s and to BNP Paribas). She also consulted on the custom content and advertising efforts of many ﬁnancial ﬁrms working at The Wall Street Journal. Maryanne was educated at Cornell—Material Science Engineering, LeMoyne—Finance and Whittier Law School. Currently, she is the CEO and Founder of SurgeXLR, a boutique accelerator that focuses on monetization, plus an active angel investor and an expert on blockchain, ICOs and cryptocurrency.
Lindsay Chamings is a member of the Andersen Tax Alternative Investment Funds Services group and works with alternative investments, including hedge funds, private equity funds, venture funds and fund of funds and related management companies. She has more than 12 years of experience ranging from financial services taxation, ASC 740, and international tax.
Lindsay has extensive experience in federal partnership taxation. Her experience includes advising hedge funds, private equity and alternative investment companies on the U.S. tax implications of their domestic and international operations.
Prior to Andersen Tax, Lindsay worked in KPMG's and Rothstein Kass' Alternative Investment practice.
Norm is a banking professional with experience in business banking, commercial loans, consumer lending, compliance, audit and treasury management. He has worked at Citibank, JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo and consulted with community banks, money transmitters and money service businesses to enhance BSA/AML compliance. He takes a consultative approach with an eye towards long-term relationships and client success. He is a Certified Bitcoin Professional with a passion for how Blockchain innovations can empower individuals and change business models.
Gurinder has been involved in the Crypto World since 2013. As an avid developer who always dabbled in new Tech, Gurinder has a large knowledge of blockchain, distributed ledger technology, smart contracts, and decentralization. Before getting into Blockchain he was building Android & iOS Apps and now he has created 2 Mobile Apps that run on his own private Blockchain.
During the day, Gurinder develops and deploys blockchains and smart contracts. During nights and weekends, he either teaches or oversees the Blockchain Education at DEN. There's nothing better to him than seeing that shine in people's eyes when they interact with a smart contract for the first time!
