We are thrilled to announce a new edition of the Mozilla IOT meetup on February 23th.
This meetup will introduce a new format. It will happen simultaneously in different European Mozilla offices, and it will be opened to remote participation globally. Yes, that’s right, you don’t have to be in one of our offices to attend the talks and interact with the speakers. In this case, just go to https://air.mozilla.org/iot-meet-up-2017-02-23/ from 7pm GMT.
Starting with London and Berlin, we will have the offices connected through video and the speakers will be spread between both offices.
Here is the lineup for the event:
• Natasha Trotman (@trottykins) - Tangible Statistics Linguistics
Natasha will be exploring the texture of the dyspraxic experience. This will be carried out by discussing the findings from the major project 'Tangible Statistics Linguistics' as well as the sub project 'Tune in Tune out' toolkit.
• Michelle Thorne (@thornet) - A healthy Internet and meaningful things
• Matt Jarvis (@mattjarvis79) - Towards intimate technology in the arts
Matt is a pioneer of the maker movement with a deep understanding of the potential and limitations of technology, with a strong belief that art is a medium for change. He has worked with renowned artists, creative producers and independent curators to realise complex multi-platform and multi-system ideas in practical, accessible ways.
Save the date for this new meetup!
The event will also be recorded, so you’ve got a chance to watch it all even if you’re not free on that day!
