We are so excited to be invited to be a part of The Philadelphia Museum of Art's Final Fridays!
May's theme is Art & Technology. We will be set up in the Great Stair Hall along with the following:
Artist Demos: Technology & Innovation
The Artist Microgrant Competition, hosted by Technically Philly, asks artists to create immersive, interactive, or innovative creations that help art come to life through the use of technology. This year’s winning projects are by Kid Hazo and SamuelCusumano.
Meet Up with ChickTech Philadelphia
ChickTech is a nonprofit dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing tech careers.
DIY Art with The Franklin Institutes
Design an LED pin inspired by some of your favorite contemporary artists and watch MC Sketcher create Spirograph-like designs on a turntable.
DIY Art with<a href="https://www.facebook.com/TheHacktory/"> The Hacktory
The Profile Bot’s web cam creates a pen drawing of your likeness while you wait. Looking for something more abstract? Try on a “wearable tech” glove and create video art with your movements.
Detours with Team Electromag Beatbox
