Cambridge Startups: “Failure” (the Holiday meetup 😂)

Dec 6, 2018 · Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom

The Cambridge Startups community is pleased to welcome you to a joyful after-hours holiday party celebrating failure - in technology, in research, in innovation, and in all the lessons it teaches us about the future.

Join panelists Sunil Shah (Cambridge Angels), David Batey (Nickelled), Goncalo de Vasconcelos (SyndicateRoom), Sam Dods (Koru Ltd), and Jason Mellad (Cambridge Epigenetix) as they discuss failure as they've experienced it and witness it firsthand. Failure helps to shape Cambridge and the companies in our ecosystem - it ought to be recognised, celebrated, and learned from.

"You [only] need three things to create a successful startup: to start with good people, to make something customers actually want, and to spend as little money as possible. Most startups that fail do it because they fail at one of these. A startup that does all three will probably succeed. And that's kind of exciting, when you think about it, because all three are doable. Ha
