#exabits: Digital MakeFest, Fulwood 4Dec21

Dec 4, 2021 · Fulwood, United Kingdom
Join adults and children to discover and develop your digital making talents

Join our Saturday morning digital making event. Aimed at adults and children aged 6 upwards, no previous experience required. Discover the potential opportunities within digital making in our exhibition, take part in free workshops and drop-in activities using computers like Raspberry Pi and Micro:bit (all equipment provided) and meet others with shared interests.

We positively welcome beginners of all ages who would like to learn more about making things with computers, software, programming or hardware development. It is expected that children and adults will participate in activities together, children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Booking not essential, but means we can keep you updated.

Digital Making Exhibition: Have you created or built something using technology you’d like to show to the public? We’d love to see it, even if it’s not yet finished. Book a 'Presenter' ticket and we'll reserve a space for you.

Workshops may include:

  • Learn what you can do with a Raspberry Pi
  • Create an interactive computer game
  • Invent with a Micro:bit computer

Limited workshop tickets available to book here, however additional spaces are always available on the day on a 'first come, first served' basis for those who were unable to book tickets, just try to arrive promptly. Each workshop ticket is valid for up to 5 participants/family or one individual.
