We have a special event planned on Thurs May 21st at 7pm with award winning Scientist and Author David Brin, and lightning presentations by a handful of awesome future tech startups. The event will be hosted by Shareablee at 123 William St on the 19th floor. Food and drink will be generously provided. The schedule and details on the lightning talks are as follows:
7-8: Presentation and Q+A with David Brin to discuss the future of AI, SETI, and the Fermi Paradox.
8-8:20: Presentation by Fabriq, a blockchain based shared ownership social network that recently won the MIT-Stanford blockchain hackathon.
8:20-8:40: Presentation by Ivan Kozlov, head of Insignia Research Consortium, on the present state of autonomous aircrafts on the market and his work on a supersonic drone prototype.
8:40-9: Presentation by OpenBCI Co-Founder & CEO Conor Russomanno on the rapidly emerging space of DIY neurotech and the future of neurohacking.
9-9:20: Presentation by 3d printing company Orange Maker's Co-Founder and CEO Doug Farber
