Ed-Fuse Teachers Summit 2015

Mar 28, 2015 · London, United Kingdom

Edfuse’s first of a series of interactive and collaborative events, to encourage innovation and ideas between teachers and edtech creators, took place in London on the 28th march at BPP Business School.

This one day summit was made up of a coding workshop for teachers and a series of interactive presentations from some up and coming edtech start-ups. The presentations were focused on the impact of software in learning and the classroom, with some great feedback given by practicing and former teachers now involved in digital education.

The coding workshop was delivered by Stephen from Code With Bolt, a computer science education platform tailored to primary ages, allowing users to code in the browser using programmes that draw patterns and play games. Some examples were shown comparing different programming languages, including C/C++, Python and the Bolt language pioneered by Stephen.

Demo sessions were then delivered by Learning Village, Informula, Mr.Glue Stories, Harness Unio, Night Zoo Keeper and Best Schooling.
