Talk:
How modern data management can help to solve Data Scientists challenges
Gerhard Wolf, NetApp
https://www.linkedin.com/in/gerhard-wolf-netapp/
Abstract:
Data Scientists and Data Engineers are facing multiple challenges in doing their work. Massive amount of file data, re-use of existing working sets, growing AI project teams and departments and often a lack of automated and centralized services of their supporting IT not really smooth their daily business. That’s not all – so in this talk we will have a look under the hood of how such a supportive data management could look like for different use-cases and requirements.

➡️About the Speaker:
Dipl.-Ing. (DH) Gerhard Wolf joined NetApp in July 2015, initially as a Technical Account Manager for automotive and since the beginning of 2019 in the role of an AI Senior Solution Architects. Before joining NetApp, Mr. Wolf worked for over 13 years as a freelance consultant, solution architect and project/quality manager. Since 2002 he is also a member of the examination board for Computer Science of the cooperative state university (DHBW) Karlsruhe.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

Alex
