Faye Orfanou from AELIA will introduce you into the Effective Business Dealing Mindset. By defining the challenges of business relationships, Faye will help you practice tips for more effective business agreements and deals within a series of experiential exercises.

Business relationships (with business partners, suppliers, customers) are defining for your business development. Each business relationship sets significant challenges:

(a) Assessing the risks of each relationship;
(b) Initiating the relationship (negotiations, contracts etc)
(c) Communicating effectively with the business counter-party;
(d) Maintaining Trust as a fundamental element of the relationship;
(e) Measuring the efficiency of the relationship;
(f) Preventing or dealing with disputes.

About the speaker: Faye Orfanou is an innovation consultant and career empowerment advisor, co-founder of AELIA, an organization active as a “capacity building lab”.

With studies in Law, in the Universities of Athens, Frankfurt and London (King’s College), she had initially a career as an attorney-at-law, in major Athens law firms. In 2009-2012 she served as Special Secretary for EU funds in the Ministry of Education and Research, having the opportunity to design, promote and finance key projects in the fields of education, human resources development as well as research programs.

Currently she works as Innovation Consultant for the National Documentation Centre. Since 2012 her career evolved as innovation and technology transfer consultant, working in projects for Greek Universities (National Technical University, Agricultural University), Research Organizations (National Research Foundation/National Documentation Centre) and consulting firms (Grant Thornton Greece) while at the same time she has been fulfilling her mission in AELIA as trainer, mentor and career empowerer.

Since AELIA was founded in 2013, she has co-designed all AELIA major projects supporting professionals in regional Greece, while she has carried out more than 120 career empowerment educational labs and has been offering career empowerment support for over 70 young and elder professionals and students.
