Digital Payments & the Internet of Things - eCommerce futurist Steven Cooper

Feb 25, 2015 · Melbourne, Australia

We're back for 2015! to answer that all-important question:

What upgrades should you be investing in for your eCommerce business this year ?

In our first meetup we turn to Steven Cooper to polish of his crystal ball and drag the horizon to us, as we look at the next big things for eCommerce payments.

And who is he to know such things?

Steven has the amazing and envious job of travelling the planet on behalf of PayPal and Braintree to attend and talk at the events that shape eCommerce tech and trends.

So if you want to keep your store in the business of getting paid, bring yourself, your best networking handshake and your questions down to the Henley club on Wednesday the 25th Feb.

$10 per head includes food and welcome drink on arrival, additional beer and wine basics are $5 - proceeds to the venue - Henley Members free.

Steven Cooper is responsible for working with the strong developer community within Asia-Pacific, to develop and nurture the healthy start-up culture that continues to flourish across the region.

Over the last 20 years, Steven has worked as a senior developer for a host of start-ups and as a developer analyst for more than 10 years with Sensis. Before joining PayPal, he configured and spec’d massproduction technology hardware for the likes of Virgin, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Visa, St. George and Westpac.

In his current role, Steven hopes to align businesses with the most appropriate PayPal solutions - products that deliver efficiency, flexibility and enable scalability.
