Join Lisa Welchman, leading authority on digital governance and author of the new book “Managing Chaos: Digital Governance by Design” along with Kristina Podnar, internationally recognized consultant in solving organizational challenges related to IT and digital governance issues, who together will be providing a one-day interactive masterclass that will educate you on the digital governance practices necessary for sound digital operations.
Many organizations have been operating online for 20 years and still don’t know who is really “in charge” of their online presence. That lack of clarity often slows the pace of digital development and impacts online quality as different stakeholder groups take differing and often un-complementary views of the organization’s online purpose, structure, and look and feel.
Who should attend:
Digital and web managers who:
Are trying to “sell” the idea of digital governance to their executives
Need to educate or influence internal resources regarding sound digital operational practices
Have been tasked with planning or executing a digital governance framework in their organization
What you will learn:
In this one-day masterclass, Lisa and Kristina will:
Provide an educational overview of digital governance
Role play to help you understand the structure, roles and responsibilities of an organization’s core and distributed digital team
Help you understand the process for clarifying decision-making for digital strategy, policy and standards
Decipher digital policies and digital standards, and address how the lifecycle works for both, inclusive of driving compliance
In addition to walking away with deep knowledge of digital governance components, all participants will receive a Digital Governance Toolkit and a copy of Lisa Welchman’s book: “Managing Chaos: Digital Governance by Design”.
