DevOps Online: What a global pandemic can tell you about better DevOps practices

Dec 7, 2021 · Toronto, Canada

Agenda:
• 5:00 PM - Check in and hang out
• 5:05 PM - Lean Coffee Chat/Presentation
• 5:25 PM - Lean Coffee Chat/Q+A
• 5:55 PM - Wrap up, Next month
• 6:00 PM - Adios!

For us at CircleCI, data from 900k+ devs, 25K orgs, and 30m+ builds/mo provided us some interesting insights into better DevOps practices. In this session, we will seek to uncover what this unique dataset can tell us about high-performing engineering teams, and what trends stand out through the aggregated platform usage.

Speaker:

Jeremy is the Director of DevRel & Community at CircleCI, formerly at Solace, Auth0 and XDA. He is active in the DevRel Community, and is a co-creator of DevOpsPartyGames.com. A lover of all things coffee, community, open source, and tech, he is also house-broken, and (generally) plays well with others.

The future of the software world lies in the co-operation of development, quality assurance and operations.  Delivering top-notch products quickly requires integration and collaboration -- no more silos. This group is for people who share that vision.  I wanted to create a meetup for like-minded folks to share ideas, complain, layout plans and vision for the future, and generally enjoy great company.
