Design Thinking: A Crash Course.

In 2 hours you will be taken through a full design cycle by participating in DESIGN THINKING: A CRASH COURSE. This is a fast-paced project where participants pair up to interview each other, identify real needs, and develop a solution to solve a problem we are given on the day. NO PREVIOUS DESIGN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Facilitated by Margie Moore – (Director, Design Factory) and co facilitated by Karen Fraser (Director, Capability Network), this session will be based on world class processes, created and used by Stanford Design School. Come along and learn from this hands on experience.

Agenda:
7:45-8am: Intro’s, grab coffee and light breakfast

8:-10am: A crash course in Design thinking: we will be given a problem to solve and use the design thinking process to facilitate this challenge.

10am- 11: Q&A, discussion time- Organising thought: "what does design thinking have to do with Agile?"
