And we're back!!

After an extended break, the @DCCyberWarriors are fresh and ready to roll! On October 23rd, we are teaming up with SECon202 to provide a special 3-hour virtual meetup on SECon202's Twitch Channel (https://www.twitch.tv/secon202). Starting at 10 AM Eastern, we will have three excellent speakers (Jose Fernandez, Meghan Jacquot, and Charles Shirer) at the top of each hour.

10:00 AM - Jose Fernandez: Not on my box: Running ransomware code on the cloud to help prevent ransomware on your actual systems.
Jose Fernandez (@JadedCyber) is a Puerto Rican hacker dude specializing in cyber-security development and research. He is a veteran and small business owner offering services in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

10:00 AM - Meghan Jacquot: Practice Using Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Tools.
Meghan Jacquot (@Carpe_Diem_Tech) is a Cyber Threat Intel Analyst with Recorded Future and is a curious lifelong learner committed to sharing what she has learned. She is a Cybersecurity Specialist and is passionate about helping others, speaking at conferences to increase cyber awareness, and is particularly interested in cloud security, risk management, and ethical A.I. She is a host of the podcast AT -> GO AI that focuses on bias mitigation and data security. To continue expanding her knowledge, she is on Hack The Box, placed in the U.S. Cyber Challenge top 100, and attended the U.S. Cyber Camp in 2021. She helps with Operations for Cloud Security Alliance - D.C. Chapter and volunteers with both WiCyS Mid-Atlantic Affiliate (Women in CyberSecurity) and the National level in the Resources Committee. You also might see her hanging out with her chinchilla. She's happy to connect with others on LinkedIn.

11:00 AM - Charles Shirer: Next Gen Hackers
Charles Shirer (@bsdbandit) is a Penetration Tester/RedTeamer/Security Researcher. He has 20 years of overall I.T. experience with the last eight years in Information Security, performing web application network and wireless penetration tests. In his spare time, Charles plays retro video games, works on the SECBSD opensource project, a penetration testing distro based on the OpenBSD Operating System, Works as Staff at several Security Conferences, runs a Podcast, and enjoys helping others whenever possible.
