Dec 5, 2017 · Burlingame, United States of America

Session organised by the Object Management Group® (OMG®), a technology standards consortium, to discuss and adopt IT/software standards. Data residency is the set of issues and practices related to the location of data and metadata, the movement of (meta)data across geographies and jurisdictions, and the protection of that (meta)data against unintended access and other location-related risks.

There will be a tutorial from 9am – 12pm and the roundtable discussion will take place from 12pm – 1pm over lunch. We will be covering issues and risks, laws and regulations, applicable and related standards, and cloud customer needs.
