Improvisation is the art of creating something in the moment with your fellow players. It requires a certain mindset and the skills used in improv are transferable to a range of disciplines. As UXers, we create things on the daily so what can we learn from improvisers?
Come along to this interactive workshop and get your creative juices flowing with your fellow designers. (Everyone is welcome - no improv experience necessary).
First, we'll be generating ideas in the moment with Dr. Ken Hudson (author of Speed Thinking) and his quick ideation technique, the Ideas Blitz. Then we'll get our improv on with Cale Bain (improviser of almost 30 years), who will help us get out of our heads and creating without even knowing it.
It's going to be a fun night, and as usual, there will be pizza and beer!
