Synopsis:

Our minds recognize images 60,000 times faster than words. More of our brain is dedicated to processing them than all other senses combined. Upwards of 65% of the human population learn best through visuals.

They are a basic, evolutionary way that humans communicate and we should bring them back into business

Yet when we are faced with complicated, strategic thinking, team alignment and idea capture - we rely on verbal language - which quickly fails us.

Using images helps communicate ideas with clarity, alignment and engagement. Come to the workshop to learn how, even if you don't regularly draw!

By attending this session, you will be able to -

- Advance your facilitation skills
- Build a visual library of icons to use in coaching or facilitation
- Demonstrate easy ways to up your flip chart skills and become a whiteboard warrior
- Learn how to express ideas and solve problems using visual language

Tamsen has worked at a bunch of companies for a number of years - but that's a BLAH speaker profile.

More importantly, she has fun doing it. She has a background in architecture, video games and then Pixar, she's always been part of strong creative, storytelling-based environments where thinking outside the box was nurtured.

She is founder and principal at Graphic Language, a bespoke facilitation and coaching company, and has been a Program Manager and Agile coach for years in Silicon Valley.

Tamsen is an experienced international speaker, graphic facilitator, and humor coach and is passionate about continuous improvement, and how to facilitate that curiosity in others. She specializes in crafting learning cultures that maximize retention and engagement in the participants.
