Coded vs. Codeless Visual Testing

Dec 12, 2017 · San Francisco, United States of America

Test automation folklore is full of horror stories of failed attempts to apply record-playback tools to perform UI-based functional testing. Join Yarden Naveh, Customer SUccess Manager at Applitools, as we take an objective look at record-playback tools and compare them with programming-based automation tools in order to evaluate their applicability to visual test automation. Yarden will show that record-playback tools are very effective as visual testing drivers and implement a visual test for a responsive website using Selenium Builder without writing a single line of code.

About Yarden: Yarden Naveh has been at Applitools for the past 2 years as a Currently a Customer Success Manager at Applitools, and has vast experience in both functional and visual testing and automation. Prior to that hen worked as a software engineer and software consultant for the Israeli Defense force, and spent a couple of years in AI research at Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel.

**Doors open at 6:30 for food/drinks and networking, presentation begins at 7:00**
