Hands-On HTML Forms and Web Accessibility
1 billion persons in the world live with a disability, yet most of e-commerce, news, information and government websites have significant accessibility issues. Inaccessible code isn’t just inconsiderate; it’s also bad business. Losing potential clients, impossible data collection, abandoned forms and surveys, and more.
In this workshop, developers will learn how to create web forms that are more accessible and usable, as well as how to follow development best practices and ensure functionality for as many audiences as possible. Additionally, we’ll dip our toes into basic design principles, content writing, and testing procedures that differentiate a good developer from a great one.
Join us to meet other junior developers as well as some who are further along in their careers. Get to know some friendly people in our industry! 👋 Our goal is to help build community- we want you here!
All levels of experience are welcome.
The Zoom link will be posted closer to the event, but only visible if you RSVP.
