Machine learning models are often evaluated and validated by a set of metrics. Data scientists rely on those numbers to decide if the model is good enough for certain tasks. NLP models are no exception.
Software/Services are often evaluated and validated by a set of tests. Software engineers rely on the test results to decide if the system is functional and reliable for certain tasks.
Can we as data scientists go beyond the numbers to understand our models on a deeper level?
Could it be possible for us to achieve that by borrowing some ideas from software engineers?
Please join the session “Behavioural Testing in NLP” to explore the possibility and enjoy a friendly discussion together.
