Building Modern and Consistent User Experiences with Clay & Lexicon

Apr 27, 2018 · Eschborn, Germany

In the last several years, well crafted guides like Material Design and flexible libraries like Bootstrap have managed to bring some order in the previously chaotic world of website design and UI/UX. While we all very much appreciate their effort, it's important to not go into "one size fits them all" extreme.

The Lexicon experience language and Clay component library combination, build on top of these ideas to provide solid design principles as well as easy to use and evolve components particularly tailored for enterprise class applications and complex user interfaces.

In this session Chema Balsas, Principal Frontend Engineer at Liferay, will explain how Lexicon and Clay served Liferay's needs, but moreover he'll show you how can you leverage them in you own applications to provide beautiful and consistent UIs to your users and customers, while keeping pace with the fast-moving JS ecosystem.
