Cloud native computing, microservice architecture, containerization, Kubernetes and service mesh have now solidly entered mainstream DevOps. Developers must now adapt to this fundamental change. While these approaches sound great in principle, when it comes down to implementation, the changes they introduce are non-trivial and extensive. This talk will introduce you to these new methods and their promise for faster development, demonstrating a working “code to production” cycle that a real development team takes. In addition to fundamental components, we will introduce you to how you can apply Microservices principles to convert traditional monolithic apps to modular UIs and process management.
